2025 Recap
This is an attempt at a 2025 recap, a year that still feels a bit surreal. Finding ourselves in Berlin, hearing our names called as Europe’s Best Wedding Photographer at Way Up North, was obviously a peak moment. It still feels unreal, and at the same time we can still feel and rejoice in the outpouring of love we received during those days, something we’ll be forever grateful for. We returned to Way Up North later in the year, which has now become a beautiful part of our wedding season: a place to reconnect with dear friends and gather inspiration.
But our year actually began with a transformation we had been dreaming about for a long time: a full rebranding and a brand-new website that finally reflects who we are today. It felt like opening a new chapter with a voice and visual identity that align perfectly with the way we approach our work and the couples who choose us. From there, things just kept unfolding in the most unexpected ways. We were invited to speak at the ANFM conference in Modena, sharing the stage with none other than Cristina de Middel, Magnum’s president, and someone we deeply admire. It was one of those pinch-me experiences we’ll keep close for a long time.
We also returned to the Arles Photography Festival for the second year in a row, because our photography universe keeps growing, shifting, and expanding even after all these years. And, of course, 2025 brought us beautiful weddings in incredible places in Portugal, Montenegro (Mamula Island), Italy (Villa Lena) and even a very special one inside a party bus. We also couldn’t end this recap without mentioning how much fun we had this past year with all the different kind of cameras we’ve been using, from point and shoot to medium format and even handycams and the wonderful surprises they keep giving us.
But above everything else, what truly amazes us, still, is the trust our couples place in us: the enthusiasm, the vulnerability, the care. The feeling of being chosen, again and again, to document one of the most intimate and important days in someone’s life. That’s the part that hasn’t changed in 10+ years, and it’s the part that keeps us both grounded and motivated.
2025 has been generous, unpredictable, and full of the kind of moments that remind us why we do this. And with one month left, we’re excited to see what it still has in store.
