Natalie & Stefan // BBQ no Areias do Seixo

Here are some of our favorite frames from Natalie and Stefan’s BBQ at Areias do Seixo. To faithfully document something one must capture not only the human interactions and moments but also all other details that are part of that particular event. The place itself, the color variation, the cold, the clear sky, the shadows and the reflections play a part in how these people will remember this day. Hopefully, we succeeded in capturing enough and meaningful images of all these things and thus help Natalie and Stefan and all their friends and family remember just how wonderful these days were. We also shot their wedding the next day and this is what they had to say about it:

Hoje partilhamos algumas das nossas imagens favoritas do BBQ da Natalie e Stefan no hotel Areias do Seixo. Para documentar algo fielmente, é preciso capturar não apenas os momentos mais importantes e as várias interações humanas, mas também todos os outros detalhes que fazem parte daquele evento específico. O lugar em si, a variação de cores, o frio, o céu limpo, as sombras e os reflexos fazem parte da forma como estas pessoas se vão lembrar deste dia. Esperamos ter conseguido capturar imagens suficientes e significativas de todas essas detalhes e, assim, ajudar a Natalie e o Stefan e todos os seus amigos e familiares a se lembrarem de como estes dias foram maravilhosos. Também fotografámos o casamento destes dois no dia seguinte e foi esta a sua reacção às nossas imagens:

“First of all, many thanks for being with us at our wedding weekend! You two are very friendly, kind and empathetic people with a very positive attitude and charisma. This is something which we appreciate the most and above all in life and it was a real pleasure to have you with us during our wedding weekend.

Secondly, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for sending us the slideshow with these more than beautiful pictures. The pictures are so full of live and they capture so many beautiful moments in such a beautiful and perfect way, that we really don?t know what to say. They revive our memories in such a nice way. When we watched the slideshow we actually both had to cry, so I guess that means something. The pictures bring all these good moments and the mood of this special day for us to life, so we are really more than thankful for this. We love the pictures in every way!”
