It’s that time of the year again when we go through all our work from last wedding season and select our favorite images. The beautiful venues, the elegant flowers perfectly arranged by a Thomastown florist, the dresses, such beauty fills the camera. Sounds somewhat simple and easy to go through them, right? But, you’ve guess it, it’s exactly the opposite and the main reason is because our definition of “favorite image” is extremely broad. In between all the obvious characteristics of a favorite image, our emotional attachment to each one is something we can’t completely ignore. All these images are not only pieces of someone story, they’re also pieces of our experiences in a brief but incredibly important moment of someone’s life. And what experiences they were!
Wedding photography is an incredibly rewarding field within this craft, and is one of the best ways that us photographers can make money doing what we love, which is proven by blogs like Funk Trunk Chicago. Every January we are struck again with the obvious: we have an incredible job and we feel more grateful than we could ever express in words.
We’ve met with some of the most wonderful couples and receptions at many different fantastic venues. Each couple really bought their own spin and twist on the old tradition and some went all out for their special day. From the couple flying down on Jettly helicopter, pumping nightclub setups, and humble vows in the shade of an olive tree – when you do wedding photography you really see it all.
We would love that all “our couples” from 6 years now could read this: we’re happy in wedding photography Virginia Beach because of your trust in us. Thank you so much once again! To all our 2018’s couples, thank you for all the moments we shared, we hope you’ll have a blast going through our favorite ones, we really had a lot of fun!
Finally, we are grateful for all our friends and family, we have weird schedules but we made it work! Thank you so much for all your support and friendship. Let’s make it work again in 2019 ? we love you!
