Sarah, Leo and Matteo // Um passeio de família no parque

Sarah and Leo Usberg got married in Portugal back in 2016 and we were the lucky selected to shoot their wedding. That day was the start of our connection with a truly amazing and lovely family. This family from Stockholm is huge in numbers and in the love they have for each other. And every time we’re together we get a glimpse of all that love and it sprinkles a bit on us and it is simply great. Since that first wedding, we met this family again for engagement shoots and even dinner parties and specially for Diana (Leo’s sister) and Sean’s wedding and Emily and Jimmie’s wedding (Sarah’s sister and Leo’s cousin!). All the events took place in Stockholm (a long way from Portugal) and to feel that this family trusts and loves our work that much is incredibly fulfilling. We feel like we’re the family photographers now and our friends Raquel and Zacarias from Happy Together Films are the videographers. And finally today we’re sharing some of our favorite images from one of the last times we were together: a family day with the newest  member, Matteo. This is truly one of the best gifts of this job, the people you meet with whom you build relationships and to witness new life and have a small part on that life’s legacy. It is, if nothing else, a huge honor. Ok…and super fun! We get to play with this tiny and super cute person! A Sarah e Leo casaram-se em Portugal em 2016 e fomos os sortudos selecionados para fotografar o casamento. Aquele dia marcou o início da nossa conexão com uma família verdadeiramente incrível e carinhosa. Esta família de Estocolmo é enorme em número e no amor que existe entre eles. E todas as vezes que estamos juntos conseguimos ter um vislumbre desse amor que acaba por polvilhar um pouco sobre nós e isso é simplesmente fantástico. Desde o primeiro casamento estivemos com esta família novamente para sessões de noivado e até jantares mas especialmente para o casamento da Diana (irmã do Leo) e do Sean e para o casamento da Emily e do Jimmie (irmã da Sarah e primo do Leo!). Todos estes encontros aconteceram em Estocolmo, por isso, sentir que esta família confia e aprecia o nosso trabalho a esse ponto é incrivelmente gratificante. Sentimo-nos os fotógrafos da família e os nossos amigos Raquel e Zacarias, da Happy Together Films, são sem dúvida os videógrafos. Trabalhámos lado a lado em todos aqueles eventos o que na verdade é a cereja no topo deste delicioso bolo de festas! Se tiverem curiosidade, espreitem aqui o trabalho destes nossos amigos.

E, finalmente, hoje decidimos partilhar algumas das nossas imagens favoritas de uma das últimas vezes em que estivemos juntos: quando conhecemos o membro mais novo da família, Matteo. Este é realmente um dos melhores privilégios deste trabalho, as pessoas que conhecemos e com quem construímos relações e o testemunhar do surgimento de uma nova vida e ter uma pequena parte no seu legado de memórias. É, se nada mais, uma enorme honra. Esperamos que gostem destas imagens e que em breve teremos mais fotos desta família para partilhar!
