Being both from Portugal, we know how wonderful our country can be and we love to explore it. Aldeia da Pedralva (check it out here) is a beautiful place that brings to the present a small and traditional Portuguese village. All the rooms in this charming hotel are small houses that once were real homes of Portuguese rural families. Usually, wedding ceremonies are held near the ancient fountain in the center of the village and every guest walks out of their small home and gathers there to celebrate the wedding. It’s a unique experience and a unique perspective to an old way of life in rural and rustic Portugal.
