The thing that fuels our life is the possibility to capture it in images. We truly can’t live without taking pictures every time and every where. Even when there is no camera around, no phone in our hands, our eyes are always seeking a moment, an angle, something that would make a beautiful and meaningful image. So we are always seeking for new places, new and different stories to tell with our cameras.

Being both from Portugal, we know how wonderful our country can be and we love to explore it. And Quinta de Sant’Ana (check it out here) is definitely one of our favourite corners, it’s a place we come back to time and time again and not only for weddings. Don’t get us wrong, Quinta de Sant’Ana weddings are wonderful, perfect actually, but this property is so much more than a wedding venue. It is family owned but, more importantly, family managed. They have maintained the original architecture of all it’s beautiful buildings, from their big yellow family home, the main ball room, an ancient chapel, a big wine cellar to a few smaller houses. They also produce incredible wine, honey and flowers. It’s a wonderful place for Summer vacations, surrounded by hilly vineyards, located midway between the Atlantic ocean and Lisbon. But, with all honesty, the best Quinta de Sant’Ana aspect is its people, the family and all their staff. They say a place is its people and this amazing Quinta is a true reflection of that. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!
